General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will finally resurface for some fantastic drama.
Obrecht has been off-screen since early March, but she’ll be back from her New Zealand medical conference in the very near future.
According to SOD, fans can expect to see Kathleen Gati reprise her popular role starting Friday, April 24.
The week will end on an exciting note as Obrecht returns and becomes a key player in some big storylines.
GH spoilers say Liesl will share scenes with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) right off the bat.
Felicia will get some alarming news about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) before filling Obrecht in and passing along an intriguing proposal.
Will Obrecht step up to help Anna at Felicia’s urging? Regardless, Felicia will make a pitch and apparently recruit Liesl as a surprising ally.
Of course, we also have to talk about the whole fake Nathan West aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) situation since a big reveal happened while Liesl was gone.
GH viewers now have confirmation that Nathan is still dead and that his twin brother has taken over his life.
Liesl is in the dark on that twist, so devastation should be headed her way sooner or later.
Obrecht believes her beloved Nathan has come back to her, so she’s going to be crushed when she realizes he’s presumably gone forever.
That said, there’ll be a lot of exciting material to explore when it comes to Cassius.
Since Cassius is Nathan’s twin, Liesl obviously gave birth to them both.
Was Obrecht led to believe Cassius died following the delivery?
Whatever the case, Liesl will revisit some crucial memories in the coming episodes, so fans will get a better idea of the past and her perspective on things.
Naturally, there’s also the potential for Obrecht to find out Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) shot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and that he’s tangled up in some extreme danger.
Liesl may ultimately discover Rocco’s secret along with Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) since Britt is sitting on some secrets of her own related to the cold fusion project.
Bottom line, it’s great that Kathleen Gati is about to step back into Liesl Obrecht’s shoes since she’s definitely needed on canvas!
