Police Report!! The latest developments surrounding the situation involving Kirsten Storms and her ex-husband are more serious than what we previously knew.
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) recently got the police involved over some hacking allegations.
Storms posted about the incidents on April 9, which was months after ex-hubby Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny Zacchara on GH, ex-Stefan and Jake DiMera on Days of Our Lives) obtained a protective order according to TMZ’s timeline.
Some fans have expressed concern for Storms based on her posts about a hacking crisis.
The GH star shared struggles over getting into Instagram and complained about things going missing when she used the Wi-Fi on her cell phone.
Storms also revealed that the Franklin PD were notified and investigating this situation.
Since Storms has also claimed to have break-in drama at her Tennessee apartment, that’s also been a topic of conversation in some of her Instagram posts.
Kirsten Storms talked about her eviction notice on Instagram as well and sought advice, but all this comes after Brandon Barash was granted a temporary restraining order against his ex-wife.
The judge sided with Barash after he made claims about Storms’ mental downward spiral, including alleged hallucinations and delusions in 2025.
Although Storms can still see the minor daughter she shares with Barash, visits are supervised for now.
Brandon Barash and Kirsten Storms will have to go before a judge at some point this week to have that restraining order reviewed.
We certainly wish Storms all the best when it comes to her mental health and any other problems she’s up against.
It’s always upsetting to hear about a soap star in distress, but let’s hope everything works out in the end.
In the meantime, we should talk about what’s ahead for Maxie.
Storms is no longer on contract, but Maxie will presumably need to be part of the action after Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) is revealed to be Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) twin brother down the road.
That could potentially require a Maxie recast at some point, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted as more news comes in.
