This isn’t just another twist; it’s a full-blown crisis threatening to unravel lives, loyalties, and futures. As the truth remains buried, the stakes grow darker, heavier, more dangerous. And now, with his fate hanging by a thread, one question burns—how far can sacrifice go before it becomes irreversible?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Steve Burton recently confirmed his character, Jason Morgan, will be making a return to the GH canvas and even provided a timeline on when viewers can expect to see him.

As fans know, Jason is currently in WSB custody, somewhere in Jakarta, Indonesia, seemingly awaiting trial for shooting one of their bigwigs, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
The two had an intense encounter in late March as Jason was trying to escape town with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in tow.
As Cullum was about to strike Jason with an iron rod, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), who was lingering around the corner, grabbed Cullum’s gun and shot the double agent in the back.
Jason immediately stepped up to the plate and took the blame by confessing to the crime.
He went into protective mode to ensure Rocco didn’t face any repercussions for this action.
Of course, the storyline was set up so that Steve Burton could take a hiatus.
The actor posted about it on his Instagram in February, to give fans a heads up.
With that said, Burton has stated on multiple occasions that he was coming back, and his exit was only a ‘short break’.
During the latest episode of “That’s Awesome”, the podcast he co-hosts with fellow GHer, Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli), Burton confirmed he was returning to the show in June.
During a portion of the podcast, Burton noted that one of the questions he gets asked the most these days is when he’s coming back to General Hospital.
In Burton’s words, a lot of fans are asking, “If I’m coming back … when I’m coming back,” to which Anderson replies, “That’s right!”
This is when Burton noted that he’s returning to the ABC soap and he’s “… starting in June.”
If Burton starts filming in June, General Hospital viewers should expect to see Jason back in the land of Port Charles come July, potentially early August, as the show films about four to six weeks ahead of broadcast.
It’ll be interesting to see how Jason gets out from the WSB’s thumb, as most everyone believes it’ll be a miracle if they ever see the henchman again.
Still, if anyone can make it out of the scenario alive (and go on to thrive) – it’s Jason Morgan!
General Hospital spoilers note that Jason’s return is sure to be explosive, so fans will need to tune into the show to see it all unravel.
