General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) nightmare may be far from over. There are more challenges ahead, so let’s consider another curveball that may be coming up following that awful car accident.
After Curtis regained consciousness and saw that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) was seriously injured, he made it his mission to get her out of the vehicle ASAP.
The stakes were raised when Curtis realized there was a gas leak steadily dripping.
Thankfully, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) helped Curtis get unconscious Jordan to safety before the car exploded.
Now Curtis will have to wait on the doctors to do their thing at the hospital and hope that urgent medical treatment will save Jordan’s life.
However, the drama may not stop there! Even if Jordan pulls through and makes a full recovery, GH writers could potentially lean into a popular soap trope.
Jordan clearly has some head trauma, so it’s possible she’ll awaken with amnesia sooner or later.
Memory loss could be an interesting way to take this storyline, especially since Jordan’s reunion with Curtis is still fairly new.
What if Jordan wakes up confused about why Curtis is acting so romantic at her bedside?
Jordan may be weirded out if she assumes Curtis is still committed to his marriage to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
Perhaps Jordan won’t remember anything about Curtis’ divorce decision or the baby that Portia’s carrying.
Jordan may not recall anything about Portia and Isaiah Gannon’s (Sawandi Wilson) relationship either.
What if the last thing Jordan remembers is being romantically involved with Isaiah during their own brief window of happiness?
Things never got serious between Isaiah and Jordan, but she certainly cared about him before her Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) investigation got in the way.
Jordan may not remember accepting Sidwell’s job offer either depending on where the story goes from here.
It might be interesting if Jordan wakes up wanting Isaiah instead of Curtis.
That could perhaps affect Isaiah’s heart too and leave him more torn than he anticipated despite his feelings for Portia.
