Taylor Frankie Paul Breaks Her Silence After Alleged Domestic Dispute

As Taylor Frankie Paul prepares for her season of The Bachelorette to air on ABC, she’s getting candid about the show that put her on the map.

Season 4 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiered on March 12 on Hulu, and viewers got to see Taylor prepare for a shot at love on The Bachelorette.

But they have also watched her up-and-down relationship with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, with whom she shares son Ever (she shares son Ocean and daughter Indy with her ex-husband, Tate Paul).

Now, just days after the latest season dropped, fans were shocked to hear that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives hadpaused production on the upcoming season 5. People reported that it came as a result of a “domestic assault investigation” involving Taylor and Dakota.

Per the outlet, a spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department noted “allegations have been made in both directions” and “contact was made with involved parties on [Feb] 24th and 25th.”

Fans were wondering whether Taylor would speak out on the news.

During a March 18 appearance on Good Morning America, she told Lara Spencer that she doesn’t know why the show is on pause, but that it is on hold for now.

“Honestly, I don’t call the shots with production,” she explained in a clip posted on Instagram. “As of now, I have gotten word that it also has been paused, but I do not call those shots. So, as far as I know, it was, but I don’t know for how long and why.”

Variety noted that the pause is “temporary,” and “production will resume soon without a major impact on the season’s release timeline.”

Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette debuts on ABC on March 22.
