Netflix’s latest reality dating experiment, Age of Attraction, has captured the attention—and curiosity—of viewers with its bold premise: can singles find lasting love without knowing each other’s ages? The show, hosted by Bachelor Nation’s Nick Viall and Natalie Joy, threw 40 singles into a whirlwind of blind courtship, where age remained a secret until couples had already formed a bond.

With the season finale dropping on March 25, 2026, and a reunion episode set for April 1, fans are eager to learn which couples are still together, who called it quits, and how the experiment played out once the cameras stopped rolling.

The unique twist of Age of Attraction is simple yet profound: participants are forbidden from disclosing their ages until they’ve coupled up and entered the so-called Promise Room. As Natalie Joy explained to Entertainment Weekly, “What was so great about this show is that there were no rules besides you can’t say your age.

So there was really no, like, guiding. [It] was to date who you want to date and connect with who you want to connect with.” The result? Six couples emerged from the original pool, with age gaps ranging from a modest 15 years to a jaw-dropping 33 years.

Not all couples survived the process. The pair with the largest age gap—27-year-old Vanelle Fenmou and 60-year-old Jorge Sanchez—split early after an off-camera altercation left Vanelle uncomfortable.

According to Jorge, “We had an incident yesterday where some crazy guy comes walking up, you know, making threatening remarks.

And I told him he better back up… So we exchanged comments, we exchanged remarks, and Vanelle took that some kind of way.” Vanelle offered her perspective: “I felt uncomfortable in that situation, and I just felt like it could have been handled differently.” Their breakup underscored that, sometimes, age isn’t the only hurdle.

The remaining five couples made it to the dramatic finale, filmed atop a mountain in Vancouver. Here, they faced the Commitment Ceremony, where each pair decided whether to continue their relationship off-camera—or part ways.

Unlike other dating shows, Age of Attraction didn’t demand an engagement as the end goal, but it did leave the door open for those ready to take the leap.

Let’s take a closer look at where the final couples stood after the Commitment Ceremony—and what’s happened since.

John (27) and Theresa (54)

This duo quickly became fan favorites, overcoming a 27-year age gap with their undeniable chemistry. John, a software sales professional, fell for Theresa, a stylist with a storied past (she once worked with Carolyn Bessette in the ’90s).

Yet, Theresa’s concerns about societal judgment loomed large. “The world is not fair, and [there] is a double standard for women who date younger men,” she reflected during the ceremony, adding, “If I let myself be totally vulnerable with you and the world, it’s the hugest risk I will ever have taken.” Her children’s heartfelt letter, read aloud for the first time at the ceremony, gave her the confidence to commit to John. John, visibly relieved, declared, “I want to continue falling in love with you.”

However, the upcoming reunion may reveal cracks. In a teaser, John reportedly says, “I don’t deserve to be with someone who texts him that they feel disgusted being with him.” It seems the real-world pressures and insecurities around their age gap have persisted since filming wrapped.

Derrick (43) and Pfeifer (23)

Derrick, a Houston-based medical sales professional and father of two, and Pfeifer, a Seattle graphic designer, seemed an unlikely match at first. Pfeifer openly worried about leaving her support system behind to move to Dallas.

“I would be sacrificing my entire life in Seattle, my friends, my support, and everything I’ve built over the last four years,” she said. Yet, she ultimately decided to “put the unknowns aside” and committed to starting a life with Derrick. Derrick gifted her a key to his Dallas home, symbolizing a fresh start.

But the reunion trailer hints at trouble: Pfeifer did not attend the taping, a detail that has fans speculating about the couple’s current status.

Chris (26) and Leah (41)

Chris and Leah’s 15-year age difference proved insurmountable. While Leah, a flight attendant, wanted to continue the relationship, Chris, a public speaker and business owner, felt “unnecessary pressure” from the age gap.

“For the first time in my life, I felt like it was hard to be myself,” he admitted, ending things at the Commitment Ceremony. Leah, disappointed but resolute, said, “I wasn’t going to beg someone to choose me. I also can’t turn a boy into a man, either.” Later, Leah questioned Chris’s motives for joining the show, asking the cast at the reunion to raise their hands if they believed he was truly there for love.

Andrew (38) and Libby (22)

Andrew, a Baltimore bar owner with two young children, and Libby, a San Diego-based social media manager, bonded quickly.

Andrew’s main concern was whether their different life stages would hinder their future. “The biggest fear for me is keeping you from your dreams even though you’re a part of mine,” he shared.

Libby reassured him, insisting his daughters would be “an addition” to her life, not a hindrance. They chose to stay together, but the reunion teaser reveals some growing pains: Libby has yet to meet Andrew’s children, and Andrew almost skipped the reunion altogether.

Logan (29) and Vanessa (49)

This couple’s journey was nothing short of a rollercoaster. Vanessa, a salon owner with four previous engagements, and Logan, a corporate purchasing manager, frequently clashed over intimacy and maturity. Yet, their connection endured.

At the finale, Logan surprised Vanessa by asking for her promise ring back—only to drop to one knee and propose. “It’s been a crazy rollercoaster of a ride and I’m not getting off anytime soon,” Logan said.

Vanessa accepted, marking the show’s only engagement. The reunion trailer offered no new updates, leaving fans eager to learn whether their engagement has survived the pressures of real life.

The show’s format, which removes age as an initial barrier, has sparked conversations about what really matters in relationships. As Nick Viall told Entertainment Weekly, “The show demonstrates that you don’t always need a wedding or even an engagement to be interested in how these couples survive or work out outside of the show. I think relationships are hard enough in 2026 to make work.”

With the reunion episode set to air April 1, many questions remain. Will the couples who braved age gaps and public scrutiny find lasting happiness?

Or will real-world challenges, from meeting children to relocating across the country, prove too much? One thing’s for sure: Age of Attraction has proven that love—no matter the numbers—remains as unpredictable as ever.
