Mormon Wives’ Miranda Hope Slams Theory MomTok Leaked Taylor Frankie Paul Video
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Miranda Hope defended herself and the rest of MomTok against online speculation she was the one to leak the video of Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen.

Miranda Hope is defending MomTok—and herself.
In the wake of the recently released video showing Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s 2023 physical altercation (after which Taylor pleaded guilty to aggravated assault) Miranda responded to a user speculating it was a fellow MomTok member who gave TMZ the recording.
“haha the first time i saw that video was the same day you all did,” she wrote in the comment section of the Instagram video. “none of us girls have ever been in possession of it or any other evidence.”
Miranda also addressed the user’s speculation that of the MomTok girls, it was her specifically who leaked the video, as she and Taylor have had their own interpersonal issues over the years—specifically over Miranda’s ex-husband Chase McWhorter’s alleged involvement with Shinia Powell—and because she was among the first members of the cast to speak out in the wake of the video.
“my intent with my statement was not to shade taylor, but to simply address that I do not support nor condone that behavior from either party,” Miranda continued. “taylor and i have been in a good place and she has apologized for both the Shinia and Chase stuff! i have my theories on who leaked the video, but i can promise you it wasn’t any of the women.”
While the majority of the Mormon Wives cast have yet to address the video of Taylor and Dakota, Miranda and Layla Taylor both weighed in the day after the footage was made public.

Miranda, for her part, said she’d been “at a loss for words.”
“Everything has been really tough to see,” she continued in her March 20 Instagram Story. “Domestic violence and abuse of any kind is something I take very seriously. As a human, and especially as a mother, I cannot support that kind of behavior.”
Layla, meanwhile, wrote on Instagram, “My personal history as a survivor makes it impossible for me to stay silent. I stand firmly against domestic violence in any form. I keep her children in my thoughts, hoping for their safety above all else.”

Meanwhile, filming on season five of Mormon Wives has been paused amid a police investigation into an alleged second incident between Dakota and Taylor which occurred in February.
As for the filming pause, cast member Mikayla Matthews told a fan during a March 19 Q&A, “It was a decision that all us girls came up with and agreed on. We didn’t feel comfortable filming with everything that was happening.”
