Mormon Wives Cast Wants To Continue Filming Show — Even If It Means Doing So ‘Without Taylor’!
MomTok may continue without Taylor Frankie Paul!
As we have been following, the 31-year-old reality star sparked another massive controversy this week due to an active domestic assault investigation following an alleged incident between her and Dakota Mortensen in February.
It paused production on the fifth season of Mormon Wives, mainly because the women didn’t feel comfortable filming due to the abuse allegations from both sides.
A video of Taylor physically assaulting Dakota and hitting her daughter with a mental barstool, resulting in an injury, in 2023 then surfaced on Thursday, which led to her season of The Bachelorette getting cancelled. Yikes.
With all the drama going on, the Mormon Wives stars are now worried about their future. An insider close to the cast told Us Weekly on Friday:
“Some of the girls are anxious about the possible future. This has rocked all of their worlds. Some of them feel resentful.”
Although they are on a break, the women, who include Jen Affleck, Whitney Leavitt, Demi Engemann, Mikayla Matthews, Jessi Draper, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, and Miranda McWhorter, are reportedly hopeful they can move forward with filming soon.
The group does not know if Taylor will film the show again, but they feel they can continue without her. The source added:
“The girls know they can continue without Taylor and want to keep going. This has brought them closer in a way, and they all have been leaning on each other, checking in. They want to make it work and finish out season 5 on a high note.”
We’ll see what happens! What do YOU think, Perezcious readers? Should Mormon Wives continue filming without Taylor?
DISGRACED Bachelorette star Taylor Frankie Paul has temporarily lost custody of her son as her ex was granted a restraining order.
Dakota Mortensen, Taylor’s ex-partner, will now have sole care of their two-year-old son, Ever, until April following the stunning court ruling.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star was ordered to stay 100 feet away from Dakota, which also includes his home.
In addition, she was told to ditch all weapons, according to court documents first seen by TMZ.
The decision from the Utah judge came just one day after Dakota filed for a restraining order against Taylor, 31.
Taylor has been embroiled in her latest legal battle with Dakota since he has accused her of choking him last month.
Dakota, 33, claims she ripped a necklace from his neck and scratched him during two violent fights that unfolded in February right in front of their son.
He filed a protective order against Taylor the incident on February 23, in which Dakota called 911, and both parties claimed abuse, according to law enforcement.
Dakota reportedly details the alleged altercation from last month in his filing and claimed that Taylor “choked” him to the point where he had to physically remove her grip from his neck.
He also claimed that she “shoved” her baby daddy into a window and “struck” him when their son was with them at Taylor’s home.

Dakota, who Taylor was thought to have broken up with in December 2024, shortly before getting cast as The Bachelorette, called the incident “chaotic” and “frightening.”
In addition to son Ever, whom she regularly posts with on social media, Taylor also shares daughter Indy and son Ocean with her ex-husband, Tate Paul.
