General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one duo will have a disastrous evening together. Despite a couple’s attempt to have a wonderful date night, things won’t go according to plan on April 7.
Of course, GH spoilers are being mysterious about the identities of these date-goers.
That’s delivered a bit of a guessing game on social media, so fans have been speculating on whose night will get derailed.
There are multiple options to consider, but we’d say Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) make the most sense under the circumstances.
It seems likely we’ll see a chain reaction of awful events for the pair.
That could be why Gio will feel the need to apologize in the April 8 episode and why he’ll be thankful to Emma on April 9.
Gio may deliver a heartfelt apology and ultimately get Emma’s reassurance that it’s fine.
No matter how exactly this date spirals out of control, Emma loves Gio and would never hold it against him.
This is the kind of thing that could actually end up bringing Gio and Emma even closer.
Emma’s sweet response to any disaster that’s brewing may make Gio love her even more.
Part of the problem might be Gio chickening out or messing up his performance at the Charlie’s Pub reopening.
However, Emma may insist there’s no pressure and will surely understand if Gio wants to go home early.
Gio and Emma definitely have a strong relationship that involves being patient with each other.
Emma and Gio also get that sometimes things happen that are beyond their control, especially in Port Charles since catastrophes are the norm!
If there are other issues with this date night as well, it won’t be a big deal to Emma.
That said, Gio may promise he’s going to make things up to Emma with the most magical evening possible.
That could lead to Emma and Gio’s upcoming New York City trip, which will bring a Broadway crossover event later this month.
Gio may consider it a date night do-over and hope this evening together ends much better than the last.
