General Hospital spoilers say that with Steve Burton gone (or at least temporarily), a lot of fans can’t help but wonder if the producers are thinking about recasting his character, Jason Morgan.
Is This Actor The New Jason Morgan?
Of course, that would be a very controversial decision to make, but seeing how Steve is yet to finalize a return date, it seems like everything is up in the air right now.
But for longtime fans of the show, they absolutely do miss seeing Jason on the canvas and want to see him back as quickly as possible, and especially since he has unfinished business with Britt Westbourne.
With that said, there’s a lot of chatter online about who could possibly replace Steve as the new Jason Morgan in Port Charles. And it seems like a lot of people keep repeating the same name: actor Brandon Barash.
It would certainly make sense for Brandon to come back. After all, he hasn’t been doing anything ever since the producers of Days of Our Lives ended their contract with him almost two years ago.
And seeing how Steve’s own contract might be up in the air right now, it would make sense to have someone like Brandon fill in for his shoes, right? Now, that’s not to say that Brandon would take over the role completely, but it would certainly be exciting to see someone take on Jason for at least a hot second.
Is Steve Burton Coming Back To Port Charles?
Not only that, but it would also be interesting to see what kind of chemistry Brandon would have with actress Kelly Thiebaud, who also plays Britt on General Hosptial.
Seeing how Steve and Kelly barely have any contact with one another, there’s a chance things would look completely different with Brandon. Or at least, that’s what fans are hoping for.
Then again, General Hospital fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next!
