General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of April 27-May 1 tease that a clash between Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cassius Faison a.k.a. fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) could trigger a steamy encounter, so let’s unpack the possibilities surrounding an unexpected romance between these two.

Cassius is head over heels in love with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), who happens to be Josslyn’s cousin, but if Lulu can snag her best friend’s husband, then he’s free game for Josslyn, right?

Besides, once Lulu finds out that Cassius isn’t Nathan, this romance may be headed for disaster anyway.

With that said, while there is quite an age difference between Cassius and Josslyn, it was hard not to notice the slightest undertone of flirting when the two ran into each other at the gym.

Josslyn had heightened the charm – and ditziness – to gather intel as she tries to figure out more about Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and his final project.

In fact, as obsessed as Josslyn is to crack the code on Faison’s final project, a new point of interest for her has become “Nathan”.

She senses that something doesn’t feel right about his return, and she’s going out of her way to place the pieces of this puzzle together.

Josslyn’s not wrong, as fans have long learned that “Nathan” is actually his twin, Cassius, parading around as his brother and assuming his life.

Now, the General Hospital preview for the week of April 27-May 1 suggests a heated confrontation between Cassius and Josslyn, but will it turn ugly, or will these two sizzle?

During the promo, Cassius is with Josslyn in her apartment. Josslyn starts walking towards the door, seemingly there to open it so that “Nathan” will leave; however, Cassius forcefully grabs her arm, which shocks Joss, all while giving her an intimidating smile.

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) can be heard in the voiceover saying, “She’s not just some ditzy sorority girl, she’s a WSB agent!”

It only seems right that Britt would tell Cassius about Josslyn, but it’s unclear as to why she’d do this, as she was sworn to secrecy.

Perhaps to give Cassius a heads-up to be careful about what he says to Joss?

Regardless, it looks like the niceties they exchanged at the gym will turn to animosity, but fans know that friction between any twosome sometimes means romance is on the horizon, and Josslyn and Cassius do seem to have some sort of chemistry between them.

Even though he’s with someone else, that doesn’t mean much in the land of soaps, especially since his romance with Lulu is teetering on the inside, just waiting to explode once his secret comes out.

Plus, it’s also hard to gauge Cassius’s personality. Obviously, he’s working with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and lying about who he is, which makes him a villain, but because he’s gone through extreme measures to protect Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), viewers can’t help but feel as if there may be some “good” in him too.

Still, could Cassius confront Josslyn on her WSB lie, where emotions rise, and the two end up slipping between the sheets?

Heroines and villains alike cheat on their significant others when they get caught up in enough passion, and Cassius jumping into bed with Josslyn (and vice versa) would be an interesting plot twist in this storyline.

There’s also the possibility that they don’t jump into bed together, but just kiss, which would still be shocking and hint at a relationship down the line.

General Hospital spoilers suggest that Josslyn and “Nathan” might become a slow-burning romance, where they start off as foes and then get hot and heavy, so fans need to tune in to see what happens next between these two.
