Breaking News!! Taylor Frankie Paul OFFICIALLY Joins Dancing with the Stars Season 34

TAYLOR Frankie Paul was quietly lined up for the ballroom before the reality TV empire she was building came crashing down, The U.S. Sun has learned.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives breakout was secretly locked in for Dancing With the Stars before the deal apparently unraveled when ABC scrapped her season of The Bachelorette in the eleventh hour.

The MomTok influencer, who was just days away from premiering as The Bachelorette in March before Disney pulled the plug on her season, had already secured a spot on Dancing With the Stars as part of a wider deal with the network, a source claimed.

However, insiders told The U.S. Sun that the opportunity has now slipped through her fingers over the ongoing domestic violence case with ex Dakota Mortensen.

The source claimed that Taylor had signed onto the ballroom competition and even seemed “more excited” about hitting the dance floor than handing out roses.

“Taylor was set to join DWTS, that was part of her overall contract with Disney.

“When she signed on to do The Bachelorette, the DWTS gig was lumped in there too, which Taylor was more than thrilled to do.

“She actually seemed more excited about being on DWTS than even being The Bachelorette and signed on to do it last year.

“She was set to get a large lump sum this summer and then would’ve been paid more as the weeks went on in the competition, but won’t be getting that now.”

It’s an extra heavy blow as producers were confident Taylor, 31, could go the distance on the upcoming season, which she was first rumored to be a part of in a DeuxMoi blind item.

“Producers, and Taylor, thought she would 100 percent be a finalist and make it far like her co-star Whitney [Leavitt].

“And the idea was she would be even more beloved with the fanbase after they went on the journey to find love with her – before everything blew up,” they said of fellow Mormon Wives star, Whitney Leavitt, who competed on DWTS in 2025.

Behind the scenes, plans were already being sketched out for Taylor’s potential partner – and it was a pairing designed to win over viewers.

“There were talks she was going to be paired with Brandon Armstrong if all went according to plan,” the source spilled.

The pro dancer, known for his patient, charming, and upbeat coaching style, was seen as an ideal fit for Taylor’s personality and skill level.

“He has a very gentle coaching method compared to some of the other pros and they thought that tenderness would be a good style fit for what Taylor needs.

“He’s also very patient and technical and loves to make a good TikTok video, so it would’ve been a fun fit.

“They would’ve been a really fun duo. It’s a shame the audience won’t get to see it.”

Brandon, 31, joined DWTS as a troupe dancer in 2017 and was promoted to a full-time pro dancer the following year.

He missed out on teaming up with Taylor – whose life has been in turmoil since late February 2026 when she got into another domestic violence altercation with her ex, Dakota.

As the 2026 incident played out publicly, footage of a violent fight between Dakota and Taylor from 2023, which included her hurling metal chairs at him while her daughter was present, came to light for the first time.

The shocking footage led to ABC canceling The Bachelorette just three days before their widely-publicized premiere.

Taylor still continues to face future court hearings over the 2026 incident to determine whether or not she will gain back custody of her youngest child, whom she shares with Dakota.

Currently, her son, Ever, 2, is in the temporary custody of dad Dakota until an upcoming court date on April 30 determines how the co-parents will move forward.

Taylor has eight hours of supervised visitation a week, under the current court orders.

Both Taylor and Dakota have active restraining orders against each other, further complicating the dynamic.

Most recently, Dakota announced he would be taking a break from the public eye to focus on his son, where Taylor vowed to continue to document her “messy healing process” online.
