General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of April 20-24 reveal that some story shockers are coming up on the ABC soap. The excitement’s about to ramp up in Port Charles, so let’s talk about all the stunning news ahead.

Following Ethan Lovett’s (Nathan Dean) reunion with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), he’ll share scenes with plenty of other familiar faces.

It looks like Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will spend some time with Ethan and reminisce about his father, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).

However, GH spoilers suggest Ethan may have his mother, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), on his mind when he catches up with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Since Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) nearly caused Holly’s grim fate, Ethan will have good reasons to want revenge and could become a new ally for Sonny.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) also has a fresh alliance coming up, so perhaps Ethan could come through for her, too.

Laura could certainly use all the help she can get to take down Sidwell and finally end the blackmail nightmare!

As for Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), she’ll get quite the blast from the past thanks to Ethan’s return.

Kristina may instantly remember how attracted she was to Ethan once upon a time and feel that attraction pulling her toward him once again.

Ethan may be more inclined to reciprocate Kristina’s feelings now that she’s older and wiser, so we’ll see if some flying sparks are on the way.

Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will give an answer following someone’s proposal.

That could involve one from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) since he’s on the verge of ambushing Nina.

This could lead to Nina joining forces with Valentin against Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), but Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) could be headed for trouble anyway.

Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) has been fishing for information on Valentin from Charlotte as part of her own potential Brennan deal, so that could lead to issues.

Over with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), he’ll whisk Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) off on a New York City trip that she’ll never forget.

Gio and Emma will be part of an exciting Broadway crossover as they enjoy the stage musical of Aladdin.

Emma and Gio will also have an interaction with Michael James Scott, who plays Genie, during their time at the New Amsterdam Theatre.

Scott will also make a trip to Port Charles in May, so that’s something to look forward to as well.

For now, Gio and Emma will grow closer through this NYC trip, which is sure to bring some romantic moments.

Back in Port Charles, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) may continue to panic over the secret she’s keeping about the night of the car crash, especially if Tracy convinces her to keep lying to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
