Hallie Batchelder and Chase McWhorter were getting hot and heavy at Coachella!

On Sunday, April 12, the influencer, 28, shared a snap to her Instagram Stories of the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star — who is the ex-husband of cast member Miranda Hope — sitting in the grass arm-in-arm at the iconic music festival.

The next day, McWhorter also shared a picture on Instagram of Batchelder, 30, kissing his cheek.

According to an exclusive source, the snap was just a glimpse of a loved-up weekend for the duo in Indio, Calif. The source tells PEOPLE that Batchelder and McWhorter had actually “been DMing back and forth for a bit before Coachella” but “met for the first time in person on Friday” at the festival.

“It started off as flirty, good vibes, and then the flirtiness took over,” the source continues. “Saturday was their first kiss. They kissed at the end of Bieber’s set. They were making out on Sunday, too.”

Though the source acknowledges it’s “still early days,” they noted that the pair were “together all weekend” and that McWhorter “seems happy.”

“He’s definitely smitten and we might see a trip to New York in the cards soon,” the source adds. McWhorter lives in Utah, while Batchelder calls New York home.

When contacted for comment, a rep for McWhorter confirmed to PEOPLE that he and Batchelder shared a kiss at the festival and hung out together multiple times throughout the weekend. A rep for Batchelder did not immediately return PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Batchelder’s recent flirtation with McWhorter comes less than a week after it was revealed she hooked up with another Mormon Wives star, Dakota Mortensen, during the competition series Unwell Winter Games, which was filmed in February and was released in April.

During the series, Batchelder admitted that she and Mortensen made out while the cameras were off, and she told Mortensen she had a crush on him. However, during a confessional, when asked if she “likes Dakota,” Batchelder said, “No.”

The source also tells PEOPLE that Batchelder admitted to McWhorter while they spent time together at Coachella that she had kissed Mortensen, but “it didn’t bother him,” adding, “He appreciated her honesty.”

McWhorter — who shares two kids with ex-wife Hope — separately became the center of drama in the Mormon Wives world last month when he kissed costar Jessi Draper at a party, days after it was revealed that she was getting a divorce from husband Jordan Ngatikaura.

Draper later sent Hope flowers, apologizing for the kiss. McWhorter also acknowledged the moment during an appearance on Harry Jowsey’s podcast Boyfriend Material, saying, “I learned my lesson on that. It wasn’t cool to Miranda. Obviously, got in trouble there. She deserves a lot better. Everyone agrees with that, I think, unanimously.”

Chase has also been romantically involved with two other members of MomTok. He briefly dated Layla Taylor before Taylor developed a friendship with Hope, and he had a fling with Taylor Frankie Paul amid her infamous swinging scandal.

The fifth season of Mormon Wives has currently paused production after several members of the cast refused to work with Paul amid two ongoing domestic violence cases involving her and Mortensen, sources confirmed to PEOPLE in March.

During the April 7 episode of Boyfriend Material, McWhorter said it was “up in the air” whether cameras would start rolling again for the Hulu reality series.

“Hoping they do,” he said. “All the other women have a bunch of great stories and storylines that haven’t been told. I think that’s a great thing they could look into. So I think they should, but we’ll see.”
