General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s some good news to report about one popular GH star. Many viewers have been anxiously awaiting Finola Hughes’ return as Anna Devane, but the wait is almost over!

On X (formerly known as Twitter), Chris McKenna (Jack Brennan) recently chimed in when a fan admitted they were missing Anna.

McKenna indicated that it won’t be long until Finola Hughes is back on-screen, so that’s certainly exciting to hear.

“Finola is on her way back!” McKenna confirmed.

GH fans will recall that Anna endured serious mental anguish due to her time in captivity on Spoon Island.

Thanks to Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) twisted plans, Anna came to believe Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was alive and could still pose a serious threat.

Anna ultimately ended up being dumped in France, where she attacked a police officer and got herself thrown in a psychiatric facility.

Now Anna’s stuck dealing with legal drama and her mental health treatment off-screen.

Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) has been missing her grandmother right along with viewers, so she’s hoping to get Anna closer to home as soon as possible.

There’s no word yet on the circumstances of Anna’s return, but the truth about Cullum and Sidwell’s plot has to come out eventually.

Anna deserves to know Faison is still deceased and isn’t out to get her or her family again.

However, there’s another Faison-related mystery for Anna to ultimately get involved in.

“Nathan West” is actually Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey), so Anna will hopefully become part of unraveling that secret sooner or later.

Nathan’s twin is working for Sidwell and Cullum, so he poses a threat like his father!

Although Cassius claims he’s not like Faison, there may be more similarities than he wants to admit in terms of how villainous he is.

As for Anna, she should get back to her old self at some point and help take down her enemies.

It’ll be great to see Finola Hughes in action as Anna again, so stay tuned for her upcoming return.
