Days of Our Lives Spoilers Thursday, April 9: Lexie Awakens, Paulina & Abe Fight, Chanel’s Big Change for Johnny

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, April 9, reveal that Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) will finally open her eyes while Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) clash across town.

Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will also catch Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) off guard with a new perspective, so here’s what DOOL has in store.

For starters, Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) will head back down to the secret tunnels for another visit with Lexie, who’ll awaken while her son’s there.

Days spoilers say Lexie will understandably be confused over what’s going on, but Theo will be there to talk her through it.

Of course, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will no doubt pop up at some point and take credit for pulling off this miracle with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) help.

Since the experiment will be a success when Lexie wakes up, EJ will have some celebrating to do.

Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) will get in on that celebration and hope this is only the beginning of their extremely profitable work.

Over with Abe and Paulina, Days spoilers say some conflict will erupt between them.

Paulina may stop short of confessing the Lexie resurrection shocker, but she’ll still have some tense moments with Abe.

Abe could end up bickering with Paulina about Theo’s career and the manipulation that’s been playing out.

Paulina may also raise Abe’s suspicions since she’s been cutting EJ too much slack lately.

Days fans know that’s because Paulina is trying to navigate all the Lexie comeback drama, but EJ has sworn Paulina to secrecy for now.

As for Chanel, her shift in perspective will leave Johnny taken aback.

Chanel may admit she’s OK with Johnny staying on board at DiMera Enterprises and approve of him reconnecting with EJ too if that’s what he really wants.

Finally, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will have a surprise in store for Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte).

That may involve Leo trying to go all the way with Dimitri in a suite, but he’ll pump the brakes before the week’s over.
