Joseph & Kendra Duggar ‘Seemed Off’ Before Arrests — Disturbing Details [Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

Joseph Duggar and his wife Kendra are in hot water after they were both arrested last week. The 19 Kids and Counting star was first charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, molestation of a victim less than 12-years-old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older for an incident involving a 9-year-old on vacation in Florida in 2020.

He was then slapped with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor in the second degree and four counts of false imprisonment in the second degree by the Tontitown Police Department in Arkansas. And his wife was also arrested on Friday for the same charges in Arkansas!
Details of those charges have not been released, but according to KARK, police confirmed the couple’s new charges are unrelated to Joseph’s molestation charges in Florida.
It’s all very icky, and it has reportedly come as a surprise to many of the Duggars!
Now, a family insider is opening up more about the couple’s interactions with the fam in recent weeks — and how their behavior had started to change! The source told The US Sun on Friday:
“Joe and Kendra have seemed off and distant from the entire family in recent weeks.”
Hmm… The confidant added:
“Everyone is in disbelief. It’s a very sensitive topic with what happened with Josh a few years ago and they cannot imagine reliving that again — it was very difficult for the family.”
Some of the reality star’s siblings — including his sister Jinger and her husband Jeremy Vuolo, who now live in Santa Clarita, California — are turning their focus on their kids and keeping them safe. The insider elaborated:
“They were very close with Joe and Kendra but they haven’t talked to them as much during the past year, only at family gatherings. … Jeremy and Jinger, along with Jessa, only found out about this along with everyone else when the news came out.”
What a shock that must have been.
However, we’re not surprised to hear the family members are keeping their distance — that was clear when no one from the family showed up to support Joseph at his first court appearance last week. So far, parents Jim Bob and Michelle have not commented. We’ll have to see how they all react as more details come out in time…
