Heartbreaking News! For GH Fans, Kate Mansi Leaving In General Hospital! Big Sad Update!

General Hospital spoilers question whether or not Kristina Corinthos-Davis is leaving the canvas, as her portrayer, Kate Mansi, seems to be very busy with other projects on the go lately.

Is Kate Mansi Leaving General Hospital, Kristina Out?

General Hospital fans know she has been shadowing the ABC soap directors’ team recently and enjoyed her debut in this role as she directed the Monday, March 16 episode of the show.

With that said, Mansi has an even bigger project on the horizon as she’s starring in a movie set to hit theatres very soon.

The film is called Casa Grande, and it is based on the 2023 show that streamed on Freevee.

Mansi was on the series back then, playing Hunter Clarkman, and she’s slated to reprise the role for the new flick that will be released in theatres on Friday, May 1.

The movie is directed by Juan Pablo Arias Munzo and stars Mansi, along with Lou Diamond Phillips, John Pyper-Ferguson, Charley Debenedetti, Christina Moore, Javier Bolaños, Loren Escandon, Madison Lawlor, Daniel Edward Mora, Shalim Ortiz, and Bruce Davison.

The film centers around a daughter who returns to her family home as her sick father is fighting a dominant enemy.

The person battling her dad has their sights set on the family property and is crossing lines left, right, and center to achieve this goal!

Interestingly enough, in addition to Mansi, there’s another General Hospital connection in this flick.

Lauren Swickard, wife of General Hospital’s Josh Swickard (Harrison Case), is the film’s showrunner and executive producer.

Lauren also happened to be the co-creator of Casa Grande during its original run as a streaming series.

GH viewers may remember Lauren, as she was once on the ABC soap in 2023.

Ms. Swickard played “Janice”, a nurse at the Ferncliff mental health facility, when poor Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was locked up and tortured by Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder).

With a major film set for release, will Mansi be presented with bigger opportunities outside of the land of daytime drama, soon? Hollywood could start calling!

Mansi began her soap career in 2011 on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) playing Abigail Deveraux DiMera, a role that earned her a 2017 Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category.

After her work on the Casa Grande series later in 2023, Mansi hopped over to the land of Port Charles, as the Kristina recast, replacing Lexi Ainsworth.

In 2025, the actress snagged a Daytime Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category for her work on GH.

General Hospital spoilers hint that if Mansi exits the role of Kristina, there always could be a chance the show brings Ainsworth back, as many fans still miss the actress.
