Mormon Wives’ Zac Affleck slammed for ‘homophobic’ remark about Conner Leavitt before hastily deleting TikTok comment

THE Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Zac Affleck has been slammed for making an apparent homophobic remark about one of his co-stars.

Jen Affleck’s husband took aim at Conner Leavitt in a scathing TikTok comment that he quickly deleted, though not before eagle-eyed fans spotted it.

The comment was made in response to a fan’s cheeky compliment about his hair.

“HA!!!! Love it! Also your hair looks super cute,” a male TikToker wrote beneath Zac’s post.

Zac took the chance to throw shade at Conner – after the pair had been embroiled in a huge fight during the Mormon Wives Season 4 finale.

“Appreciate it, man but Conner’s page might be your place,” the TV star quipped, seemingly taking a swipe at his co-star’s sexuality.

Rumors have circulated that Conner and his wife, Whitney, have a “lavender marriage” – a term used to describe a heterosexual marital arrangement to hide one’s true sexuality.

The couple has repeatedly denied the claims in multiple TikToks.

Fans slammed Zac for taking the apparent shot at Conner.

Many were also stunned that he would stir up more drama for the Mormon Wives cast after Season 5 remains paused over Taylor Frankie Paul’s alleged domestic violence incident on February 23.

“Amazing how he judo flipped an innocuous compliment he could have ignored into homophobia and shade for Conner/Whitney,” one person reacted.

“What’s funny is that Connor actually embraces the insinuations towards him, has fun with them and is now seen as an ally,” said another.

“Zac is just making people love Connor/Whitney more and hate Zac/Jen more with these nasty comments.”

“Honestly it’s like he’s out here doing all he can to get them fired from that spin-off. Every day he says some new bulls**t,” wrote a third, referencing the newly announced spin-off, in which Jen is the only Mormon Wives star set to appear.

“Uhhhh……. Well, there goes Jen’s place on the spin off lol what the f**k is in the water in Utah this week, are they all okay??? Mercury just got out of retrograde,” added a fourth.

“I wish we cancelled Zac the way we cancelled Demi & Taylor,” chimed in a fifth, mentioning Taylor’s recent headlines and villain Demi Engemann, who quit the show after repeatedly creating drama within the MomTok group.

Zac and Conner’s feud isn’t surprising to fans, as tensions have heightened after Zac publicly admitted he’s “not a fan” of Conner’s wife, Whitney, and labeled her a “mean girl.”

Whitney has also been embroiled in a feud with Zac’s wife, Jen, which became apparent in outtakes from Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, in which they both competed.

In January, an insider exclusively told The U.S. Sun that tense scenes between Whitney and Jen were captured behind the scenes of DWTS, though they were saved for Season 4 of Mormon Wives.

Viewers also pointed out that Whitney, who was cut from the competition with her partner, Mark Ballas, right before the finale, appeared to smirk when Jen and her partner, Jan Ravnik, were eliminated earlier in the season.

Whitney later shed more light on their feud in an interview with Call Her Daddy‘s Alex Cooper, saying “feelings were hurt” on both sides.

She also called out Jen for saying on TikTok Live that she didn’t plan to vote for Whitney after her elimination.

Whitney told People earlier this month that their relationship was “cordial,” but there wasn’t a “huge friendship” between them.
