Jessi Draper Kissed Costar Miranda McWhorter’s Ex Chase McWhorter at Party
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ Jessi Draper cozied up to costar Miranda McWhorter‘s ex-husband, Chase McWhorter, at a recent party, a source tells Us Weekly.

“They were having fun at a party and it’s not serious between them,” the insider exclusively shares with Us of Jessi, 33, and Chase’s recent interaction.
News of the pair’s rendezvous was first reported by DeuxMoi earlier on Thursday. An eyewitness told the internet gossip blog that Jessi and Chase were spotted “being cozy” and “later kissing” while standing “in front of a closer group of people” at the birthday bash this past weekend.
Miranda, 27, seemingly addressed Jessi and Chase’s kiss hours later, sharing an apology note and flowers she received from her costar via social media.
“I completely understand you being upset with me,” the card, which she posted via her Instagram Stories, began. “But wanted to send you a little something to let you know I’m thinking about you and I am so so sorry. – Jessi.”
Miranda added the caption,, “Received the prettiest flowers just minutes ago.”
Us has reached out to Chase and Jessi for comment.

The news comes just days after Jessi’s husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, filed for divorce.
“I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons,” Jordan said in a March 19 statement to Us. “While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition.”
Jessi later revealed on an episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that she was blindsided by the filing when she read about it on TMZ. The pair, who tied the knot in 2020, share two kids: Jagger and Jovey.

“We agreed to tell our children together before filing, and we haven’t done that,” Jessi claimed, adding that Jordan’s move felt like “a betrayal.”
Chase and Miranda, meanwhile, split in 2024 after seven years of marriage. They are parents to son Brooks and daughter Cohen.
“I think we both realized that we’d gotten married a little prematurely, and that’s why our relationship still is pretty, good [now], like, we’re really cordial, really friendly,” Chase exclusively told Us of the pair’s decision to split in September 2024. “[I] still chat with her a lot, whenever she drops the kids off, and vice versa. … I think it’s working out really well, and we’re kind of figuring out how to continue navigating that in a positive way.”
Miranda and Chase did not appear on the inaugural season of Mormon Wives. However, the pair were mentioned for their connection to Taylor Frankie Paul’s soft swinging scandal. (Miranda and Chase participated in the swinging group alongside Taylor and ex Tate Paul as well as another couple.)
“I was very, very firm with the things that maybe other couples had done that I was not interested in doing,” Miranda said during a May 2025 appearance on Nick Viall’s “The Viall Files” podcast. “That’s something I told Taylor, as well. … It was never, like, ‘This is a world [Chase and I were] going to explore. We want to be swingers.’ It was just, kind of, circumstances we got ourselves into, and then things would happen.”
