Hulu Shocking Announcement Just Changed Everything Overnight!

Taylor Frankie Paul poses on the red carpet before the 58th Annual Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, Tenn., Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024.

The drama involving The Bachelorette star Taylor Frankie Paul has reached all-time heights in recent weeks as the hit ABC show faces a major crossroads.

The longtime reality dating program pushed back its 22nd season recently after Paul’s alleged domestic violence case. However, a previous domestic dispute from 2023 has caused all kinds of backlash pointing towards The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star.

The hit ABC show could still have a shot at airing in 2026 despite lots of confusion regarding Paul’s current legal troubles.

Paul has been on record taking responsibility following the 2023 incident involving her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. However, the latest domestic dispute remains up in the air as both of her shows are on hold.

That doesn’t mean that ABC won’t still air The Bachelorette, especially considering the financial implications for the network. According to various reports, ABC faces a $50-to-$70 million loss if the show doesn’t air.

“ABC left a window in their statement to bring [the show] back. They haven’t canceled it — they simply paused it,” Page Six revealed from an insider.

Warner Bros produces the show and licenses the popular dating show to ABC. With significant buzz ahead of the new season, it’s very possible that ABC decides to push along and give fans the drama they’ve been craving with Paul as the newest star.

Meanwhile, Paul’s reality TV days are still in jeopardy on her other hit show, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The rest of the cast made it clear that they’re prepared to move forward without Paul involved after the Hulu program recently dropped its fourth season.
