General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) may not be able to leave her past behind her.
There’s a good chance a familiar face will land back in Jacinda’s orbit and shake things up for her as well as Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
In the March 16 episode, Jacinda opened up to Michael about dating a man who was 10 years older than her when she was in high school.
Although Jacinda was of legal age, she knows now that the relationship was still inappropriate.
In fact, Jacinda’s parents were so against the romance that they cut their daughter out of their lives.
That forced Jacinda to move in with her boyfriend and grow up way too fast.
Since Jacinda had a hard time making money, she ultimately became an escort.
Jacinda clearly has some regrets and wishes she could teach her younger self some of the tough lessons she’s learned.
Of course, now that Jacinda has mentioned this ex-boyfriend, it’s probably only a matter of time until he’s on-screen.
Is Jacinda’s mystery man someone who viewers might already be familiar with?
There’s been some speculation on social media that Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) might be Jacinda’s ex since he’s headed back to the ABC soap.
However, that depends on what ages the characters are written to be and whether they’re willing to rewrite Ethan’s past a bit.
Michael guessed that Jacinda’s former boyfriend wasn’t such a great guy, but that doesn’t really sound like Ethan.
Although Ethan was the type to run cons and has made mistakes, he’s not a villainous character.
Ethan doesn’t fit this “bad boyfriend who took advantage” mold that the show’s creating.
That said, anything is possible if GH writers are determined to tell a particular story.
Characters get trashed for the sake of the plot all the time, so that’s something to keep in mind.
On the other hand, maybe Jacinda’s ex could be a completely different yet familiar character.
It’s even possible Jacinda dated someone who’ll be totally new to the canvas, which could pave the way for a dangerous stalker and a fresh villain.
Michael may have to defend Jacinda from a major threat if that’s the direction the writers go in.
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers suggest Jacinda’s past could come back to haunt her in more ways than one, so stay tuned for any troubling news to come.
